What is AT4K Launcher?
AT4K Launcher is a fast, minimal, TV-first launcher designed for Android TV and Google TV. It focuses on smooth remote navigation, zero clutter, and deep customization without ads or tracking.
How do I navigate the home screen?
Use LEFT and RIGHT to move between top icons. Press DOWN to jump into Watch Next or apps. Press OK / ENTER to select the focused item.
What is the Watch Next / Featured section?
Watch Next shows Continue Watching items and app-specific preview content. It automatically changes based on the currently focused app.
Can I hide Watch Next cards?
Yes. Go to Preferences → Appearance → Hide Featured Cards. You can also hide cards for individual apps using the App Manager.
How do I reorder apps?
Focus an app, hold OK / ENTER for about 2 seconds until it starts moving, then move it to a new position and press OK again to place it.
Can I cancel app move mode?
Yes. Press the BACK button while an app is in move mode to cancel repositioning.
What are Favorite apps?
The first row of apps is treated as Favorites. When focused, Watch Next shows programs related to the selected favorite app if available.
How many apps per row are supported?
5 apps per row is the default. 6 apps per row is available with Premium.
What does Premium unlock?
Premium is a one-time purchase that unlocks custom image wallpapers, image URLs, video wallpapers, more gradients, 6 apps per row, custom app icons, and helps support ongoing development.
Can I use gradients without Premium?
Yes. Some curated gradients are free. Additional gradients require Premium.
How do I set a custom wallpaper?
Go to Preferences → Theme Mode and select Custom Image, Custom Image from URL, or Custom Video (Premium). You can also use any file manager and press Share → Set wallpaper under AT4K Launcher.
What is overlay style?
After setting a wallpaper, AT4K asks whether to use Light text or Dark text. This affects UI readability only and does not change the wallpaper itself.
What does White Border do?
White Border adds a visible outline to the focused app or Watch Next card to improve focus clarity.
How do I change the clock format?
Go to Preferences → Appearance → Use 24-hour clock to switch between 12h and 24h formats.
What does “Override back button exit” mean?
When enabled, pressing the BACK button on the home screen will not close the launcher. This prevents accidental exits.
How does the screensaver work?
The screensaver activates after about 2 minutes of inactivity. It hides the UI and shows only the time and date. Press any key to exit instantly.
What is the App Manager?
App Manager lets you control each app individually: hide apps, hide Watch Next cards, set custom icons (Premium), or open system app settings.
Do I need to press Save in App Manager?
Yes. Changes are applied only after pressing Save.
What are TV Inputs in AT4K Launcher?
HDMI and AV inputs appear as app tiles. They cannot be reordered or uninstalled, but can be launched like apps.
Why should I hide Watch Next on low-RAM TVs?
On low-memory devices, disabling Watch Next improves smoothness by reducing background data loading.
Which wallpaper mode gives best performance?
Custom Gradient wallpapers offer the best balance between visuals and performance. Video wallpapers look best on OLED or Mini-LED TVs.
Is AT4K Launcher ad-free?
Yes. AT4K Launcher has no ads and no tracking.
